Before using this medication, l your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially: anti- seizure medications (e.g., phenytoin, phenobarbital ), beta blockers (e.g., metoprolol, atenolol ), guanethidine, ketoconazole, methyldopa, phenothiazines (e.g., chlorpromazine ), reserpine, tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline, desipramine ).

This product also contains acetaminophen, a non- aspirin pain reliever and fever reducer.

GENERIC NAME(S): Phenyleph-DM-Acetamin-Guaifen.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist how much acetaminophen is safe to take. Taking too much acetaminophen may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Adults should not take more than 4000 milligrams (4 grams) of acetaminophen a day. One ingredient in this product is acetaminophen. People with liver problems and children should take less acetaminophen.

Keep all regular medical and laboratory appointments.

Liquid forms of this product may contain sugar, alcohol, or aspartame.
